    • Europe accounts for just over 7% of the world’s population, 25% of its economy, and 50% global social welfare spending.
    • Britain has had a £241 billion balance of payments deficit with the EU from 2007 to 2012 and a surplus with the rest of the world of £54 billion in the same period.
    • Only 40% of Britain’s trade is now with the EU and this is falling continuously.
    • Britain is the EU’S biggest export destination, same size as to the USA.
    • MEPs voted out of office in the May 2014 elections will apparently get golden handshakes worth up to THIRTY-NINE THOUSAND EUROS each, plus no doubt generous pensions.
    • 10,000 eurocrats earn more than the British PM and on their salaries pay around 13.4% tax. They enjoy in addition a vast array of expenses.
